The barbell exercise primarily engages the shoulder muscles, with significant involvement of the triceps and stabilizing muscles. Pull-ups on the bar strengthen and build the muscles of the back, arms, chest, abdomen, and forearms, improve overall body strength and posture, and can increase self-confidence. This exercise helps achieve a V-shaped physique, builds a wide back, strengthens grip, and stabilizes the core.
