Primarily engages the pectoralis major (chest) muscles, supported by the anterior deltoids (shoulders). The exercise involves bringing the arms together, tensing the pectoral muscles. Subsequently, return to the starting position with controlled movement and constant muscle tension. Maintaining a straight back and controlled movement is crucial.
